SKI BOAT DRIVER 2 COURSE

The SBD2 course is designed for anyone who wishes to drive unassisted for water skiing and/or other associated disciplines.

This one day course runs from our barge and can be pre booked on weekdays by individuals or small groups of two.

Participants must be over 16 years old and have boat driving experience.

In order to gain the licence, once you've completed the course you'll need to pay BWSW an annual membership fee included in the course cost..

BWSW MEMBERSHIP**

Once you have completed the SBD2 Assessment with us you will need to pay BWSW for your actual Licence and then become a member to validate your Licence: Costs are:
£40 – for your Licence without ICC / £70 – for your Licence with ICC – this is a one off payment. PLUS £64 - single annual membership (normally £84, but you get a discounted rate as you took your SBD2 at Exewake). Please note you will have to renew your membership annually to keep your Licence valid.

*The International Certificate of Competence (ICC) is a certificate that offers proof of competence to operate pleasure craft in international waters and can be issued to anyone who has passed the BWSW Ski Boat Driver Level 2 course and opts to pay the additional fee

**BWSW membership is required in order to be issued with a licence.

WHAT TO BRING

On the day of the course please arrive at the Exewake meeting point 5 mins before the start of the session. We’ll have all the equipment you need to complete the course including a life jacket, however we recommend you also bring:

Waterproofs; sun cream; hat; packed lunch and a passport photo
